Hello World, I guess that is how I should start because I now am using a different web browser to see what sites display and how things work basically.
I now use a web browser from the terminal so I don’t have to worry about not seeing this and that because of ‘incompatabilty’ issues. It is actually one of the most basic browsers available called ‘Lynx’ and I am using it to make sure the development that I do adheres to even the most basic standard.
I am in high hope that the browser won’t break or I won’t break something using it, but if you never try then you never know.
I do notice that the facebook links as well as some others drawn up in this browser don’t work.
Oh well…
I did notice that facebook was nice enough to say ‘You are too cool for this site’ and made other browser suggestions. That is fine I have those cool browsers already but the sad fact is “Not everyone can support them or wants to use them” that is why I took a different approach.
Basically to see if my site was compatable and so far everything looks fine.
If this post looks broken then I will have to analyze(haha) what part or parts do not work and will have a better log to work with.
Being a web dev wannabe, I try to adhere to standards. Some are easily interpreted while others are so hard to follow that an average bear(myself), find the request for comment entales other rfc’s and in the end just are simply hard to follow. So in the end it is the developer who has to say when he thinks that it is good.
This after all is my version of how I would like for the web to be. Not his or hers or the guy who wrote internet arpanet article #1 just mine.
So I will view how the browser works and try my best to enhance my site well enough that it can be used by even those with the limiting ability of a text based browser.
I hope that this works. I will also modify the settings of Lynx to see if I can enhance the experience itself.

Note-the only thing that I did not see a field for using Lynx text based browser on this post was Title but all the other buttons seemed to be in place.
